Property billing looks simple on paper: send a tenant an invoice, collect rent, move on. In practice, most property owners and managers run a small finance operation out of spreadsheets, email, and a patchwork of payment links. Rent is rarely just rent. A single tenant bill can include base rent, utility pass-throughs, parking, storage, pet fees, and prorated charges for move-in or mid-month changes.
